 Japanese Beetles ensuring the survival of the species.

Macro with Tiffen +4 and +2 (stacked) close up rings at 139 mm focal length. Hand held. Sunglints are a bit bright.. but it couldn't be helped.

very nice macro, my original entry for this challenge was almost identical to this, 2 beetles only on a different plant, composition is good, focus is good, well done

Wonderful beetle macro. Focus is just right for the subject and wonderfully composed.

Ooooh another pair of bugs... Again - the sheen and colours are beautifully captured. Perhaps a little too much in shadow but the composition, with the main lead on a diagonal right across the frame, is excellent.

Very crisp. Something about the shading bothers me, but I love that the beatle casts a shadow. Makes me think about the life in the garden we don't see. Well Done.
