Entry #129

This is a last minute attempt for this challenge. A homage to Manny Librodo's "Hypnotic Stare".

I'm not that great with portraits and I just wanted to see how this does.

"Manny. I hope I do your image justice with my rendition. Thanks for the inspiration my friend. Salamat kabayan".

Shot in RAW and converted with RSE.

Thank you so much Rikki. I am very overwhelmed by your "tribute". I know you could have done better in other genre thus doing this is really a "sacrfce" on your part.

Now the critique...maybe you can try more sharpening and the diffused glow on her skin. Aside from that, the pic is okay. Very beautiful model I must say. And you give justice to the orig kabayan.

Rikki finishing 98th? Unpossible! Maybe next time have a nuclear bomb go off in the background. Now that would be some Rikki inspired backlighting. :P

That's funny - I actually thought one of the other Librodo tributes was yours! But I agree about the sharpness in the eyes; it's not there.

her face is just lightly soft, a sharp focus would have gotten a higher rating, a 6

Great pose and lighting just missing the pin sharp focus in the eyes that would make this a 10. Lovely portrait anyhow.

Fine work an impressive portrait. For me portraits are dead giveaways. I was blessed with ultra eyesight and can always recognise the photographer in the subject's eyes, so I know who you are mista :))

while it's a great shot, it lacks the 'punch' and sharpness of manny's work...she is a beautiful girl though 7

seems you could use some extra focusing in this shot, but good shot nevertheless
