 Taken just after sunrise in the garden. Shot in Aperture Priority. I wish I'd remembered to put the can at an angle, but was pleased with the shot otherwise.

PP in Photoshop:
Cloned a couple of small dull spots in the background with colour from the bougainvillea. Upped the green channel slightly. Cropped from landscape to portrait format. Resized and saved.

Technically can’t really find anything wrong with this shot. I like the colors of green on the ground and the red in the background, makes the can stand out more. I do like your choice of DoF, glad the words are clear and the background is blurred. Wish the can were turned a smidge to the left so the word Heineken were more centered. Couldn’t find the shot you were going for as far as being Déjà vuâ€Â¦not saying you didn’t do a good job in that aspect just maybe didn’t look hard enough. Overall it’s a nice simple shot and you did a good job setting it up and lighting is also good.

And on a side note I also received a perfect 5 on the abstract challengeâ€Â¦never have received a perfect anything beforeâ€Â¦always is like 5.3478, or something like that. Guess that means you were right in the middle of the road on this one.

To me, the focus seems to have caught the plant life in front of the can, not the can itself.

Nicely done, great depth of field and focus on the can is great. Great job with getting rid of the reflections on the can as well.

Needs better focus, the beer can is very fuzzy and could definately be sharper. Nice DOF though, like that part.

I'd rather be laying on the beach with a Corona than laying on that stuff with a Heineken. But really I'd rather have the Heineken at the beach. For now I settle for a Redhook in my office. :) Nicely done!
