 From the same photoshoot as . Same heron, different frog. I know it\'s not a 1:1 macro, but i doubt much in this challenge will be. Going for the partial-subject idea, enough of the characteristic features of each animal is in the shot to recognise them, but only a tiny portion of each animal is shown. I bet i\'ll still get a lot of comments that it\'s not abstract enough, though.

Could have really used advanced editing on this one so i could burn the over-bright background a little and clone out that pesky dust spot and maybe do something about those annoying blades of grass... oh well.

Editing: Crop, adjust contrast and brightness, resize, sharpen.

Fantastic picture. Technically though this is not a macro, I can't see it fitting very well as an abstract macro. Congratulations though for a great capture!

A great nature shot to be sure, but I can't help but feel like this was shoe-horned into the challenge a bit. It's not particularly abstract.
