| My thanks to all for your votes and kind words. I really feel honored to share the front page with the other winners. For BabyHeads, this was real and not staged, and the subjects co-operated quite well. They minded their business and I tried not to interfere. I picked this one out of about 40 shots. It helped to have a sunflower as tall as myself so I could stand up and set up the tripod and wait for the right moments. At one point there were 4 bees on the same flower head! |

| This is an amazing shot of a flower! Oh wait a minute there's a bee on it! :o) And I thought this was a non-flower challenge. 10 for the shot minus 5 for the flower = 5 I truly fee that both the flower and the bee are the main subjects here. |

| Beautiful and vibrant colour, great composition, it's like he's on a stage with a soft rug beneath his feet and a yellow curtain behind him. I like the diagonal of his body - aids composition. |
