 I'm pretty sure that I put way too much work into this. I feel guilty ... My wife would much prefer me working on the house. Anyway, it is fortunate that we had fake grapes and saved wine bottles. The set-up involved using a fine fishing line and pins to hang the corks and screw from a metal rod between 2 chairs. The background is the top of a glass table which has a matte finish - a desk-lap is lighting thru it. The rest of the light is coming thru the sky-light and blinded sliding glass door in my living room. The challenge turned out to be getting the screw in the right position as it continually spun around (next time i'll use 2 strings to fix the position :) ... I hand-held the camera and moved the screw with my foot! Post: I rotated the bottle slightly and did some lightening overall and to the corks using curves and levels. Had to clone out the pins and thread, obviously. Well, I now put too much into this note too!

Pictures like this are fantastic because they give the viewer so much to speculate about. There could be more lighting in the grapes but otherwise it is a technically superior image.

Nice idea and execution. Good sharpness, composition, lighting on corks. A little more illumination on the bottle and grapes would help. Hope it does well.

Awesome shot, really looks like that bottle opener is juggling, I am going to look this up after the challenge to see how you did this, hope you put down a good description in the "photographers comments". 9 from me.

Actually I don't think you need the grapes - they are rather distracting and the shot would have been just brilliant without them. Great thinking to come up with this.

cleverly done! It's a good thing you gave it an explanatory title; it makes us look twice and 'get' it more solidly. Very well-photographed as well. I have GOT to learn to light subjects like that -- beautiful.
