 I really liked the final result here. Lighting was a single flash from the right kept low to the model. Editing was fairly simple as well as I primarily played with shadow, highlight settings a bit and added a little contrast to achieve the low key effect I was going for.

I think the lighting is harsh and should have included more of the hand and ciggy. Maybe a little more light under the hat to separate it from the shadow. As it is, the shadow looks like it's the hat & it's oof. With softer light and a more nuanced control of it to include more dark tones this could have been stunning.

I love this shot, B&W is awesome, I love the lighting and how it lights up here face just enough to see her hand and cig and then how it fades to black..... thats just awesome.

Very nice. Skin tone is great. My initial thought is that cropping the dead space at the left wouldn't hurt the low-key feel of the photo at all, but I think it probably would compromise the composition.

Good work - I'd like to see some shadow detail (say with a reflector), but just a small amount to keep the off center composition. Choice of format might work even better I think. Still great.

Great shot! I think I recognize this model... Wasn't she shaving in a previous challenge? ;-) Love the hat/outfit and pouty lips - the cigarette certainly fits with the scene too. Very good job.
