Sorry, but your focus is off. Also the bright object at bottom right of the pic is distracting.
The idea here is OK, but you need to get the focus better. |

| Out of focus and slightly blown, with uncomplementary grain and jpg artefacting, plus a too-diffuse background that seems to be necessary for the composition. Please try again next time. |

| nice idea, but the focus and the light peeping around the hand really pull you down. if you don't have macro, shoot from further away and then crop in. |

| Welcome to DPC. Looks like back-focus, as evident from the sharp lamp. Focus on hands and less-central compostion would be better. It's possible that your camera can't focus this closely, if so, back it up and crop in software. |

| I don't like that the hands are so out of focus... the only thing that seems to be in focus is something that is peeking out from behind the hands... |

| I understand what you were attempting to accomplish but this composition feels slightly rushed. I believe the hands do need to have some point of focus. It goes beyond selective focus. Also, the light in the background is distracting to me. There seems to be a large amount of noise in this photograph. Nice attempt but I feel that it̢۪s not quite there. |
