OK, I LOVE this shot. I like that you took it from the ant's perspective, the DOF is just perfect. The dry grass and just a little green is very interesting and helps the little ant stand out. This is one of my favorites this time. Nice job 10

I think it is the textures that grab me here, along with the lone ant and bit of green grass. cool!

excellent exposure, since the ant is small I'll forgive its horizontal centering, the detail in the is amazing! Great!

Crop the left side out to get a better composition. Sometimes I prepare the area by removing bit of grass that would spoil it, and then wait for a critter to wander into frame.
