In response to your request for comment: I really like this very angular image, both on its technical merits, and its disquieting subject matter. An odd fellow dressed in green who appears to be wearing a schoolgirl's uniform is warning us of the end of the world. The extreme wide angle and low point of view give us a distorted look at his feet and legs, adding to the unsettling nature of the image. His sign and head in my view perfectly counter balance the tower rising behind him, and neatly saw the sky into pleasing triangles. I think I can notice the burn in the sky that enhances this effect, but this, along with the burn along the lower left, improves an excellent composition, rather than detracts from the image. (The lower left burn also balances out the shadow we see lower right.)

The choice to selectively desaturate, or colour the green, is great. It wonderfully adds to the overall unpleasantness of the subject (I mean this in the most positive way). There is a cant to the image, showing up in the position of the sewer grate and the position of the background elements, that works well, making our eye wend its way through an otherwise busy background. This may simply be the extreme wide angle of the lens. If the photographer that shows up in the background were not there, this would be a stunning picture. As it is, it's wonderful and otherwise perfect. Congrats.
