 This is a photo of one of those twirly rides at a travelling carnival at around midnight. I had so much fun because it was a slow night at the carnival, so the workers were really getting into the spirit of my photo challenge. They were speeding up the ride & customizing the direction it went (with no one on it) just to help me get a cool photo. It was fun hanging out with them. They loved the photos & asked me if I could get them a copy, so I made 5x7 glossy prints of a couple of them and took them back to them :) They were so sweet.

Beautiful colors and light, Sandy! I love the stripes of blue light near the top right. That's a great story about the carnival workers, too. Bet they're pleased with the result - it's really great.

hmmm - these rides tend to go very fast. A 2 second exposure would leave nothing more than a blur of color.
