 Just some dominoes.

I played around with the lighting and shutter speed for quite a long time, but couldn't get the picture as low key as I would have liked. Also I found that if you halve the shutter speed, you do indeed get more motion blur, but the downside is that twice as many dominoes fall while the shutter is open. Which IMO did not give as good a composition.

I had a bit of a tough time deciding if this was low key or not, and in the end came to the conclusion that "low key" is a quantitative term and that perhaps it was not as low key as it could have been. Still I'm glad that I entered it.

I would like the dominoes to come from off the shot, but that's just my personal preferance.

Cool. Little more motion blur on the dominoes and bit tighter crop and this would really be striking. I may even play with the domino idea myself sometime soon.
