Ok... Firstly I havent got a receeding hairline! (well not as bad as it looks here!) and secondly I really couldnt get this looking as good as I wanted it to. I took about 80 shots, and this is the least 'stinking' of them all, but by no means perfect - I thought it would be a neat idea to do a self portrait, I hope people see what I was trying to achieve at any rate, and my RGB colour scheme!
setup & Processing:
Used a white sheet as the background and over exposed. Used a ikea paper light for the lighing which wasnt very powerful. SO in photoshop I made two layers, after tweaking the brightness and contrast a bit. On the second layer I dodged the WHOLE image with a large brush only gently on high-lights and then conbined the two layers with the hardlight option, about 60% opacity. This isnt coz I know what I'm doing, i just scroll though them to see what looks best! Then I flatted the images and planed with the huw/sat to get the colour in my clothes just right and desat my skin a bit, I really want the RGB to dominate.
As I was using the F717 on timer I had no idea of my posing, hence 80 shots. This was the best, but I'm gutted my left arm is out of shot and as well the top of the guitar, it feels a bit too clostrophobic.
At any rate, I'd be happy if I get over 5 with this.

Very nice blur motion to suggest a lightning fast hand. Bumping up though o would have cropped it just a bit higher. |

nice job.. it must not have been easy to keep some parts still to create the movement. |

Motion blur is so beautiful here suggesting a very frenetic riff, colors are great too. Hope this does well. |

Technically very good (and will get a good score from me) but I don't connect with it emotionally. |

I like how still the guitar has stayed. Great shot. |
