a tricky balancing act..perfect lighting on the interior, and a little overblown on the outside..ahh the problems of basic editing..a much more interesting shot than the score gives credit for..I love that the chair is empty..makes me think that maybe the things on the outside were too interesting, and so the lesson was abandoned.. |

Interesting view... I am thinking about the cropping, weather not to have it so narrow or to make it closer and just to the bridge on the left. The chimney to the right grabs my attention all the time. I think that the paper on the table or the people on the bridge should be those grabbing attention more. But I love your iidea and certainly encourage you to do this shot again and finetune it a bit. |

This compsition gives such an empty feeling. The black and white, coupled with one window teeming with life and one window filled with a factory - fits with your title. A melancholy person gazing out the window would have added a kick in the pants to this picture. I like the lighting and lines.. and the paper on the table becomes the subject... makes me wonder what it says... |

I have no idea what building you were in, except that I know you're right across from |

This is a nice image, although the highlights seem a bit blown out, but my main problem with it is that it doesn't say "education" to me. Maybe it's a cultural thing. |
