"On a bed of daffodil sky" - Lord Alfred Tennyson is a great addition to the Literary Adventure challenge. I think Lord Alfred Tennyson would be pretty happy with your representation of his piece. Pretty descent finish in the top 30%.
The first thing I noticed is the composition is very lovely. I really like how the trees are uneven and the central tree is the tallest. It is a little odd how the one trees base is so thin in contrast to the rest of the trees, but draws attention to the piece. The daffodils look so rich, it is amazing how many there are. I think the richness of the flowers is a great contrast with the sky and the tress are nice lines to bring the image together.
Good work, I look forward to the rest of your challenges. |

I think I would have tried to get more depth of field and some foreground daffodils - they're just too indistinct at this resolution. Nice tonal work and detail otherwise though. |

A simple yet well exposed image, the bottom left corner is the only worry for me. |
