Hi Kita
I have the pleasure once again of critiquing one of your images.
First Impression - the most important one:
I like this ... not only has it taken the perspective of giving hte character - but supplying the book .. no one else did this and got away with it.
Composition:
I found the composition not too bad ... I would probably starting thinking about how you can use the rule of thirds to your advantage in the croping - what I mean is it would have beeb nice for barbie to be a third of the way into the picture - she is a little too much in the middle.
Subject:
Meets the challenge - I think that there may have been an issue with some of the older members not realising that young people don't read shakespeare that often .. and barbie is in fact reasonable literature - noting from your comments received some guessed you were young.
Technical (Colour and light):
I like this ... as one commentor said you have provided a "nice example of exposure control for white backgrounds"
To grow its vote?:
I was not sure right away that I liked the background ... putting her a little out to nature .. or different colours ... not sure ... but they are always options.
Summary:
Not your highest scoring .. but I think a good solid effort .. look forward to seeing more of your work.

I'm not sure I'd consider a Barbie book as "literature" but for the younger set, I guess it may well be. Picture is well composed, a bit bright, but that works. |
