This is a wonderful capture. I rated this very high and hoped it would do well. Dissapointed to see it this far down, deserves a much higher placing, imo.

Needs to be closer and more focused. |

Stunning by simplicity, great contrast (butterfly against the iron). Personally i would not put it in the center (maybe more to the right?) but you probably were \"out of crop\" allready ;). (10) |

Neat Capture and appropriate title. The butterfy about to break out of prison. Great dof and crop. Good luck -9- |

quite a few papillon images in this challenge. I think that this is the best of the bunch.
The centered butterflie works well and the background is fantastic.

An exceptional photo. Perhaps a bit too bright in the background. An excellent idea. |

Such a shame the butterfly isn't more of the central subject, although the juxtaposition of the beauty of the butteryfly and the viciousness and starkness of the barbed wire is perfect for the book. |

I like the soft tones here - it makes a nice contrast to the 'sharpness' implied by the barbed wire. Compositionally a little weak but not bad - I like the centering of the butterfly but am not wild about the position of the wire. |

Wish the butterfly was sharper, more in focus. But I do very much like this image. |

I like this (more each time I view it). Simple shot, well executed and I love the bokeh and angle of the wire. My only thought would maybe be to have the butterfly a bit off centre? |

One of my all time favorite novels and this is a great take of that. |
