yikes, that left one is going to step on me. Would have been better to me if the other foot wasnt showing, no offense but that foot is unattractive

Nice idea. Would be better if you could match extreme range of subject distance with extreme DOF, i.e., focus/DOF on sole is primary, you have great sharpness everywhere else.

the hairy leg became the subject instead of the footwear - I love the composition idea though - very creative. The red in the background is distracting and the lighting is odd, but still a great idea
