This reminds me of my own work, so of course I leave my name here. I love non-conform shots.

::: Critique Club :::

Hi, my name is Kari and from the critique club.

Interesting to do a critique on your image but it is difficult if you don't give us any information in your photographers comments. When we do a critique, we go past just the photographic result, that's what voters comments do. The critique looks at what you were trying to achieve, how you wanted it to look and what issues you had in getting the image captured and ready for voting.

First Impression - the most important one:
A blank white sheet. Some will think clever and others won't. It was unfortunate that most didn't think it was clever.

Composition:
There is none.

Subject:
There is none.

Technical (Colour and light):
There is none.

To grow its vote?:
You are in between 2 black photos .. unfortuantely that says it all.

Summary:
keep it up .. your other pictures show you have really good talent.

If you've got any questions about this critique, please feel free to contact me via the PM system.

Cheers

Kari

You know, if you get this exhibited in one of those artsy fartsy galleries, it could be worth millions :)

I'll take 5% for the idea!

Looks like people like the color black over the color white as mine scored just above yours! Though for some reason the other black scored last. Meh, I guess the 10x8 cropping of my black was more aesthetically pleasing.

If you had only shrunk this picture to about 320x240 pixels ;)

This white should give you a brown :) A very brave entry :) 1: just because I want to help.

Your sensor does look dust free though which is more than I can say for mine:)

Huh?! I'm sitting here waiting for the image to load. Cute. Your heart is in the right place, but I'm afraid you're going to be close to the bottom on this one. Good luck. ;^)

Naturally if we have photos of "black" images, we have to have one of a "white" image... I wonder if we die we discover that the afterlife is polkadot... ;-)
