 For the lighting, I placed an oil lamp at the top of the stairs. Next to the oil lamp, I rigged a mini mag-light and pointed it at myself. I used the camera's timer function to get in place for the photo and slowly moved towards the stairs when exposed. The computer darkroom consisted of using auto levels, and converting the photo to grayscale. I then tweaked with the contrast, and levels, then added a little noise. I cropped the photo and added a border.

quite nice. i find the cross a bit much - it doesn't really add to the image, clutters up the frame, and isn't needed for the message.

Very good. I do think the middle of the picture needed to be brighter or maybe empahsise the top of the stairs more (7)

may be if you had a bit more light at the top of the stairs wold of been good .
