I feel like a monk is about to walk around the corner any second... Good capture.

This one caught my eye from your portfolio. The black and white works great and to me the picture seems straight from a movie scene :)

To my eye, this is just about the perfect shot and that foot makes it! Without the foot, you have an excellent shot of arches and columns in an old/ancient building. That foot adds an element of mystery/humor/surrealism that raises the picture to a whole new level. Don't change a thing.

Excellent use of b&w. I doubt if the picture would come across as strongly in color.

This is very nice. Love the lighting coming through. I'd hang this one my wall!

Great dramatic lighting and tones! Love the perspective also. Well done.

You certainly have your b/w method nailed :-) Another nice job on the conversion. Great lines in this shot, and your timing on the lighting is awesome. There is just a wonderful drama played out by the light and shadow here. hmmm, yeah, I think I have to agree, the leg isn't really adding a lot, IMO in this case. And I guess, yeah, maybe a slightly tighter crop on the right. Great subject matter in these shots. Seems to be well worth exploring further if possible. Nice job :-)

the foot on the bottom left corner is annoying.

UPDATED: I just realized your title meant that the foot is the main subject on the composition. In that case, well, you did manage to lead the viewer's eye towards the foot, but it really does appear accidental more than planned in my opinion.

Beautiful conversion to b/w. The lighting is wonderful. I agree with the comments about a slight crop on the right.

Not sure about the foot Maybe if your model was on the ground...you could just see this leg and foot and wonder if they were alive or what.....

I really like what you are doing with your b/w images, if you get a chance could you put some editing notes in the descriptions

Interesting. Is this the other side of the columns from the first photo? The back-lighting adds a totally different feel to the image. I personally don't like the show in the frame. Great architecture photo!

Love this image, I agree with some of the comments about maybe a tighter crop on the right though.

This is my favorite of the three. I love the light and the mystery of the foot in the frame. I wouldn't change a thing.

I love this conversion and your lighting is perfect. Your framing sets off the pillars nicely. I'm just not sure about the title because the leg/foot is just barely recognizable. Seems as if the image would be a little stronger if more of the leg or foot was visable. Now, if it was just that easy to get a stranger to move his foot to make a perfect(IMO) composition. :)

The light and shadows along with the rough texture make this an intersting photo.

My favourite of the three. Try to clone out the leg, and a little more crop on the right side.Just my humble opinion. ;)

Best of the bunch but I'm not sure about the partial leg. The lines created by the columns are wonderful as well as the play between light and shadows.

tones are very good but i might like it better if it was more zoomed in and focused on the columns. i find the doors slightly distracting

This is probably my favorite of the three. I like repetition of the columns and the light coming through them. Maybe I'm just not clever enough to understand the purpose of the foot, but not knowing the meaning of it, it is just distracting and seems to only be there by accident.

I don't know if I really like the "leg" sticking out from the doorway. Do really like the use of light for this photo though. Adds to the overall mood.

this is my favorite of the three you posted....although the "leg" isn't really visible as a leg, nor does it look like a leg at first (or second) glance. i kinda took you at your word... but the photo has a great texture, i really like it. nice lighting and detail... cool! :)

Nice. Strong composition with good lighting. The subject matter in and of itself is not overwhelmingly appealing to me personally, but it is still very pleasing to look at and it's technically very good IMHO.
