Argus was a giant in greek Myth who was immortalized on the peacock's tail feathers as it was her favorite bird and he was killed while in her service.

Great shot on this peacock. You picked a perfect placement for the body of the bird in the photo. I have shot these beauties many many times but they never seem to want to fan out for me when I am there. O sure they will fan out once I pul all my equipment away. O well have the battle in photography is being in the right place at the right time with the right KNOW HOW.

Question for you, on your monitor do the wispy parts of the feathers have a pink or magenta hue to them. I am not sure if that was intentional, if it is my monitor or if it is just color match problems?
