Greetings from the Critique Club!
Congratulations on high score.
Aesthetic: Its a good well balanced composition. But somehow, the balance itself is playing a bit of negative by not letting me chose one-subject.
Technical: Its seems to be well exposed picture with crisp colors though the focus seems to be little soft .. or maybe its just the contrast :)
Challenge: Well, anything would fit into this challenge theme, so no comments on this one :)
Conclusion: Overall an above average composition. Though the subject (overall) is not very "unique" per-se', I believe some bit of postprocessing, esp use of dodge and burn (in PS) could have helped in drawing attention to few-key-points. Also a bit more of contrast "might" have been cool. I think 6.1 is fair score for this picture.
I'm by no means expert in area of photography. My comments are purely based on my limited understanding of technology and art behind digital photography. Apart from doing detailed evaluation of your submission, my intent is to learn different styles of photography by critically evaluating selective submissions. | This looks ever so slightly wonky to me, but it's not is it? I like it, well taken, good idea, nicely sharp and good colours. The only thing that takes it down for me is the simple fact that I don't find it interesting enough - and seeing as that's purely my own opinion, I give you an 8! |
