 Editing: Crop, levels, curves, exposure, noise removal from background, resize, smart sharpen, save for web.

I took lots of different pictures of flowers for the square challegne - then I decided to take some of the strawberries I bought yesterday. Finally decided on this one of a single strawberry. Took this on my front step with the strawberry on top of a piece of white paper.

beautiful. whould it have been better with a more saturated colour, or ist he understaed colour bette? i'm not sure now.

Maybe its my screen but it seems a bit orange; but thats my only criticism. THe texture, focus and shine are trremendous.

Reminds me slightly of my first ever challenge entry here, all those months ago. I wonder how it's scoring - mine bombed ;-) Nicely and simply done, all the technical elements well executed ... but it's difficult to get more excited about it: really is, just a strawberry.

Nicely positioned in the frame, would like to see a bit more DOF. Maybe brighten it up, add more contrast too.
