Editing: Crop, levels, LOTS of curves - several times adjusting the little line til I got something I like, mid-tone contrast, noise removal, contrast, resize, smart sharpen, save for web.
Hopefully, this won't get a DQ request for dodging and burning - I didn't do any of that - just lots of curves.
This is my idea of the afterlife - returning to the Cosmos from which the whole universe sprang - something like being reunited with the Force. I wish I could have taken a picture that looked like one of the beautiful, amazing pictures from the Hubble Telescope - this is as close as I could come here on Earth. I've piddled and piddled with editing all the cloud pictures I took to try and get something that looks like a picture from the Hubble. To me the bright spot near the center looks like it could be a soul returning to a cosmic birthplace.
I'm a Christian and believe in God - I just really can't imagine Heaven as a literal place though. It would be nice if your soul would become a part of the Cosmos and you would feel a great sense of peace for an eternity. |

| Normally, this kind of shot makes a good background. It's right on for this challenge however. You must have been pretty excited to see this cloud formation come together! ;^) Good luck in the challenge. |

| This seems a little boring, maybe a little more saturation to bring out the colours would help. I do like how it almost looks like a painting though. |

| These clouds are nice. Lack of color? The depth seems to be there. It seems that the portal is in the light area. Nice. I tried this myself. |
