 Took a picture of my living room. Printed it out. Cut out the window. Took a picture of my son looking through the window. Lighting is natural lighting from a nearby window.

I wish the printout of the living room was better quality. And I wish I did a more careful cut out job. I still think it's cool.

Increase exposure & brighness in RAW
Crop
USM
Dodge the eye
Fix rough cutting edges
Increase brightness again
Increase saturation
I think that's about it

Brilliant idea, well executed, but the foreground objects are a little too distracting IMO. Also you've got yourself a halo tree!

very good idea. Inspired by Jean perhaps? The problem with this shot i find is that there is alot of the same colour: beige/skin colour. Had the colour of the inside of the house been another, like blue (Jean's photograph), the face peering in would have look alot more like a curious intruder. Here the face blends in to much I find. Good work though.
