PS work: tilt, crop, sharpen, photo filter(for blue), boost of saturation, resize, sharpen again.

I've always wanted to try this out and here was my chance but I wanted to put some kind of twist on it. Of all the similar I've seen it involved one toss , so here is where my twist comes in...

Toss a small LED flashlight around on a rope attached to something, put the camera under it , point up and fire away is pretty much the technic :) I read if you're using a bigger light source, place/tape a piece of cardboard with small hole in it to the end of the light source.

But really, this shot was a bit more complicated... This one took at least 3 tosses. Between each toss cover the lens with a piece of cardboard, just in case the toss is bad and after each toss wait a bit for the path to smooth out. I applied a PS Photo Color Filter to get the blue hue you see here.

Thanks so much for 8th place, I'm thrilled. Also special Thanks to all those who left comments :)

Visually appealing, but lacking the 'awe' factor my higher votes are looking for. 6

Wow! This is fanTASTIC! You could not have executed this more perfectly. Perhaps in the end, there will be more blue to this photo than the light swirls :) 10
