Music has been such a huge source of comfort since the year dot. This is a good photo. |

Even lighting, love the expression. The music seems to be taking her somewhere that only she can see. Just a couple little things that catch my eye... The line across the backdrop. The tiny bits of bare arm. When I look at her face my eye catches those and wants to go down and see what the bits of brightness are. Maybe crop tighter on the right, to get rid of that one and also bring her offcenter? |

Really well lit. Bright, complete and without over or under exposure. |

The light is a bit harsh, but this fits the challenge well. |

The line across the background is distracting and doesn't appear to be straight. |

Lighting is a bit harsh, not fond of the red background. |

The reds in this picture don't go together particularly well IMO. None of them match, nor do they compliment one another. Perhaps a different coloured background would have improved things. |

Nice expression and concept. The line on the orange background is not a big deal, but does take something away from the photo's impact. Also, I would have framed her slightly more to the right, so there would be more empty space on the left side of the image, but of course that is a matter of taste. Her shirt and lipstick don't really work well together tonally with the orange, but then again, orange is a hard color to work with. Overall great job. 8. |

Good idea...maybe better if (you?) had looked a little more relaxed and not quite so perky, but still good. Nice color. |
