Fantastic! This work is great - I love that you filled the frame. You composed it nicely. Made a slight edit...thinking faster than my typing.

Very nice! The texture is superb and the look on the statues face is wonderful! The image is nice and clear, and easy on the eyes! 8! |

As being a fan and semi-collector of gargoyle statuettes, I appreciate this shot a great deal. You did a fantastic job of filling the frame and capturing the details carved into the stone. The shadow cast by his brow intensifies the forboding look in his eye and I am intrigued by what the rest of the figure might look like. |

Composition: Nice composition and cropping.
Technical: I like the focus and colourisation. Did you try a b&w? I think the border is a little thick and darkens the photo unnecessarily. Don't forget DPC adds a 1px black border, making yours slightly thicker.
Meets challenge: Yes
Overall impression: Nice amount of detail and interesting subject.

Wow, the sharpness, the depth, it fills the frame. I love this. I don\'t think I\'ve ever given a 10, but I just can\'t find anything wrong with this photo. 10! |

Man he looks evil! I saw these (or similar) gargoyles in Paris at the Notre Dame last month and the color is strikingly similar. Good job on filling both the frame and the challenge perfectly :-) |
