No, there are actually small, lower clouds of a lighter color there. It doesn't work very well at thsi size, but it's not posterization. There's not much hue/sat work going on at all, the colors are pretty much out of the box. I did select the foreground and warm it up a tad, but the sky's pretty much as-seen. |

I'm a sucker for these kinda shots - I love em!
The gradient in the skies turning from one colour to another is amazing.

Or maybe you could give it a blatantly shoehorning "disguise" title. ;)
This is an amazing and gorgeous photo. |

Yup, straight from the camera. Took a little blue out of the foreground (the snow was too blue from reflected light) and that's it. |

So, so beautiful, as it is one of the most serene images I have seen for a long time..... Yes, it gets the "WOW" factor from me.....and also goes into "My Favorites" as well..... |

I agree, I think the square crop would take away from the majesty of this shot. I always love to see a curved shorelines in beach landscapes. Fantastic capture and the colors just explode! |

Gorgeous colors. Very nice how the tones flow so smoothly from one to the other too. Really great capture. |

Huh! Good eye! I had to magnify this to see it. It's a fence post on one of many fences that catch the sand and help it drift instead of blow away. I'll clone it out when I print this one. |

Gorgeous, Bear....though you might not want to, a square crop in from right makes a quite interesting abstract, I think! |
