Uh, this is their natural environment. It was taken against an overcast sky near Arenal, Costa Rica.

These birds are certainly strange in appearance! I love their beaks. This image would have worked so wonderfully in the duo-toned competition. :)

I wish they were a little bit lighter, though.

Nice take on the challenge and interesting subjects. the pure white leaves the impression that alot was cloned out even though it obviously wasn't. Just a personal observation... nonetheless, a nice image... :)

Whoa! Beautiful composition. The couple doesn't seem to "odd", but the photo is so beautiful, it compensates for that in my book.
