My nephew Jacob.

I am trying a new overlay technique for this image.

5 Layers total with a duotoned background layer, a layer containing horizontal lines to simulate a monitor frequency, a black and a blue layer that forms the vignette effect and finally the Prada logo. Layer blending modes predominantly ousing hard light and overlays.

Trying to get that "advertising" feel to the image itself.

VERY nice! Love the effect - it's very (ahem) effective. ;-P One thing I do notice is that the lines just above the "P" in PRADA seem to be "off", but that may be due to compression. Otherwise, terrific job.

I think it works well. The base pic is gorgeous, as is the final aesthetic.

Very nice effects, love his expression. I have to agree with kdkaboom concerning the red Prada sign, the lines on it are somewhat distracting.

(dunt speel gud eather)

This is rad! I think the effect you've used here is emotive, and very catchy. My only concerns: the prada name should be clearer in both places. I almost think the red prada tag shouldn't be "effected" by the effect...and I wish the prada logo on the hat was more visible, but that is so secondary, so minor. Ultimately, I think this is very cool.

Congrats!

Edited cuz I misspelled prade...prada! Again with that!
