This is a self-portrait. I'm pretty scared to enter this, because it's a little out of focus, and it's pretty high contrast. My camera has been weird lately, it hasn't been getting in focus. I even put something there when I was setting the self timer on, so it could focus. The sweater got distorted in the contrast, so it looks weird. I just don't know if my pictures will do well anymore or not. And yes, I cut off my feet, I was in my bedroom, and we have molding on the bottom. It wasn't flattering. I had this on self-time, and right when it was about to take the picture, I swooshed my hair around! I did this about 5 times, and I liked this one the best. Lighting is off, I know. I worked with what I had. Which were two lamps. I HOPE this does well, but who knows anymore. |

Focus isn't very clear and the angle is too straight on and centered, making it look more snapshot-ish than something you would see in a catalog or fashion mag. |

I like how the face is more focused, but the picture as a whole could be more striking if it was less blurry. It IS a challenge to do that, especially with the turning of the model's head. Good job though! |

I feel that a different background would make a big difference, here. |

Very pretty model. The lighting on the hand draws attention to it a bit, away from your model's face. |

like the movement the hair suggests... beautiful model - striking indeed... welllit and the background is perfect - a subtle gradient is visible. |

Great shot, a little more sharpness would push this one into the next level. Good shot and beautiful model. |

This could be a great pic but it looks either OOF or blurred through your layers. |

Hmmm... I feel like her face should be what's in focus, not her hand and rear-end. Also, the light seems to miss her face, so she's kind of left in the dark. The pose isn't very flattering to her body shape, and the color seems to wash her out a bit.
I like the idea behind it, though. I feel like with a few adjustments and a lighter colored wardrobe this could easily be found in the pages of a fashion magazine. |
