The drying shed, known as hjallur, was a standard feature in many Icelandic homes. Few are left of those sheds but this one stands on the coast of the capital, Reykjavik, like a monuement of the past.

some wonderful cod for fish cakes came out of that shed - that's what I thought when I looked at this shot.. interesting subject and well done

Mér finnst allt frekar þokukennt, engar skarpar línur eins og maður vildi helst sjá í svona svart hvítri mynd.

Fjarlægði ógáfulegar athugasemdir sem ég vona að þú fyrirgefir mér.

Has a certain old-fashioned feel to it - probably because of the narrow dynamic range here: you're a long way from white, and I think that's not done any favours for the overall tonality of your image. There is good detail, but the scene doesn't hold enough magic for me.
