I'm very curious to see how this was done, given that it's been validated, yet looks so very much outside the basic editing norms. Just extreme use of curves??

Anyway, cool shot.

The black and white with colour is an interesting concept but the exposure and saturation need work.

Over sharpened, pixelated.

The background is really blown out. A little more light on her face would brighten up the foreground some.

This doesn't have the feel of a fashion editorial to me. I can't recall the last time I saw selective desaturation in a fashion spread (if ever). There are a lot of artifacts in this image, particularly around her arm, the belt and her face. She's a cute model though.

A little too oversharpened for my personal tastes and for me, the business of the brush surrounding her is "fighting" for attention from the viewer.

just screams no at me.. first of all isn't this spot eddidid? on the other hand out of focus, dead trees and a bad outfit. the model is good tho..

I like the use of desat to emphasize the "fashion" but the foliage to the left of the picture nearly overpowers the model.

a different, less busy background would have given this shot a better overall composition

The digital manipulation and speckled lighting across her body don't work for me. They seem to distract more than they add to the photo.
