In addition to loving photography, I also love to read. Historical Fiction is my favorite genre. I also love poetry and classic literature. For those literary buffs out there, I bring you an image of The White Horse Tavern in Greenwich Village.

The White Horse Tavern was built in the 18th century and has been a favorite haunt among artists like poet and short story author Dylan Thomas and musician Bob Dylan. They have hanging on the wall framed pictures of Dylan Thomas who drank his life away (literaly) right here in this tavern.

"I had eighteen straight whiskeys. I think this is a record" - Dylan Thomas right before he collapsed in the tavern on November 4, 1953. He died at a hospital the morning after at the young age of 39.

I dont really know the history on this place, other than just reading Pidge's comment. Looks like welcoming tavern to me.

Ahh, yes, where Dylan Thomas drank himself to death. I've had many a beer in here :)
