 I caught this woodpecker digging for bugs, thought it could make a nice contrast considering the challenge. Not sure if I got this right, was somewhat confused as what folks were looking for?

The focus is a tad too soft, and I have a hard time seeing any significant detail in your subject.

rather confusing picture, weak composition and bad blend of blue. I think a sharper crop and playing with highlights and shadows - curves could have been more effective

sadly, it's not very sharp and the contrast between the bright bottom and dark top does not look very appealing. else the choice of tones could be interesting
