this is another one of those images that without the title it wouldn't fit the challenge.
not that I'm going to vote you down for that.
I just felt like typing something. |

Composition: 6 - Technical: 6 - Creativity: 9 - Appeal: 7 - Challenge: 1 - Overall Score: 4 - (weighted - NOT a calculated average)
Although I like the image - it's way more digital art than photography and little to do with the challenge without your title.
FWIW, my prayers are with them also.

yeah....at first I wasn't that interested in this piece...or the title. It didn't really speak to me. Until I realized that the author might be referring not to "the troops" but to the victims of US agression in the middle east. My heart does indeed go out to those whose homes have been wrecked, bodies mutilated, and families destroyed. Viewed in that context, the image of rivers of blood rolling across the globe makes this a masterpiece of irony. If it were me, I would retitle it "Good intentions Gone Bad" |

God Bless America and our troops. Great comp and a message I can relate to. I hope your not getting beat up too bad by the unimaginative who Have to see a heart shape in order to make the connection to the theme. |

Another photo with no heart in it, the voters have to read the title to make the connection. |

good coloring, nice texture of the map, flag blend. For some reason I dont like how the top right corner cuts off but no biggie. |

well done - to me the deep saturation of the reds in the flag speak to the sacrifice all have made |

this is one of the scariest depiction of America's imperial ambitions that I've ever seen. |
