 i REALLY wish i would have had more time to devote to this challenge and to take advantage of the image mod rules. this entire image took 10 minutes to set up for, shoot, and post-process. im sure it will get killed by the photoshop masters that had nothing else to do on valentines day(joke).

Look! Look at me! My name is Depth Of Field! Actually, I don't normally mind DOF shots. But when the technique BECOMES the subject of the shot, eclipsing the image itself, I think its fair to say I'm not a fan. Having said that, nice detail and lighting on the center heart.

I'm a sucker for shallow DOF and I like how you've used it here. My main criticism is simply in placement of the items - I'd like to see as much of a horizontal gap between foreground and centre heart as between centre and backmost heart. I think a more diagonal line from left to right would also strengthen composition.

This is really nice. I love the contrast of the pastel colors against the black, and the reflections in graduating height. Good luck!
