the hair covering is a wonderful touch - excellent crispness and color - if she was in the act of actually making the sign of the cross, it might add more of a sense of the sacred - a very well done shot

The colour tones and her look touched me. I like the noble way she is interpreting her faith. Among my top 3 choices for this one!

Edit: some spell mistakes and I was looking for the right word. I just can't find words I love this photo! :-)

The is absolutely exquisite in so very many ways. The naturalness of the pose, eye angle and expression, the strength and yet frailty of the lady, the simplicity of the colors, the crispness of focus, the textures of the coat, ribbon, background and scarf in contrast to the type of softenss of the face and hands.....I could go on and on. This is undeniably a ten and should win the blue hands down.
