Excellent subject choice but there's some odd flare/blur over the gentleman's head and I'd love to see the focus a little sharper. Great expressions on both, though.

This picture tells a nice story. Resolution is not good and I'm sure many will comment similarly.

Needs to be in focus.

Had this image been more clearly focused and less pixelated, I would have given it a ten. I like the expressions and your title.

this has obvious faults but I stillrated a 10 as it is what the image says thats important.

I can see what you're going for, but I don't think this communicates giving hope to someone - plus it is badly taken without enhanceing the effect

a touching photo however the quality of the picture itself is not so great. The quality of the emotion behind it is unique and priceless.

I'm not going to give this picture a score because i'd have to score it low since it's poor quality.
But i just want to say that this picture represents giving hope to the dyimg so well!! I love this concept:) And i like the picture too;)

The expressions of these people are beautiful and utterly genuine. I wish the image were somewhat sharper because the subjects are terrific. This is one of the few pictures on this challenge that doesn't need a title to communicate anything about its meaning.

I wish this photo had been in focus. I like the subject and lighting.
It looks like it was taken with a phone camera.

The subject chosen meets the challenge for sure, but the quality needs some improvement, it's very pixellated.

The photo is not as clear as it could be.

That being said I will add that it's very touching and takes me back to a time in my life.

Photos like this are priceless and I think show the true meaning of what this challenge is about.

Well done.

Focus as well as exposure seems to be a problem here. Possibly a bit of editing with brightness and sharpening up may help.
