| Nice shot, the image may have been more effective by drawing closer to your subject and thus removing the gate from the foreground. |

| Wow, this is a great setting - the trees, the coloured covers and particularly the warmth of the shelter colour. I don't think it's scoring well and that would be just a matter of composition. The gate is a huge distraction. I now you can't pose horses and stuff but the potential is so high for a strong shot here, lets just fantasise for a minute. To score well you need more than just a snapshot, you need to identify the 'hero' subject and then place it in the frame and work around the best resulting composition. The hero here is probably the group of amigos so you need to get them on a thirds line or intersection without the gate. The highish angle you've taken from diminishes the horses instead of features them ... so there's lots of stuff would make a difference. I'll be interested to follow up when voting is done. |
