Curves, convert to LAB lightness channel, grayscale, quadtone, curves again, levels, sat +, cloned out a few wires, dodge and burned, selective curves, added border, save for web.
A tribute to the Farmer's Co-Op..don't think this will be a big hit in the challenge, but the challenge got me working on creating a shot that reflected part of the history of country life. This building is no longer in use.
If I had more time, I would have liked to wait for a person to walk by, or ideally down the tracks, preferably wearing an old style cap, and smoking, or pulling a sled...but daycare was waiting..and all that sounds a little too 'perfect' for me.. |

Very interesting building and the processing gives it a nice old feel. I would have cropped differently, though - their is a distracting element on the right and I think the building is too high in the image. |

I love the post editing. It has a sad loneliness. The snow just adds to that mood. I might have a bit more sky and not crop quite so tight to the top of the building. |
