I had something different in mind. Originally I was in the 7 sins challenge, then I was out shooting and JR (dog's name) came around the corner of the barn and gave me his "look". He is such a faithful companion, always looking for a lap to sit in or a belly scratching.

This shot looks so nice prior to compressing for the 150k limit. The straw adds too much information/detail to this image file. I had to go all the way to compression of 20 to get it down and started losing details in the face and hair. Oh well, my wife is going to love the print of this. ;^)

I like the composition and the expression on the dog's face. It's great that dry grass is surrounding him (her?), gives a nice mood to the photo. Not sure though about the WB.

It's a picture of a dog...that's it. At that, the colors are dull, and the shot is simply "average." Sorry if this sounds harsh.

Perfect expression to denote the virtues that dogs embody. Placement of the dog within the frame of the picture is good, and the straw makes a suitable background here.
