I really like the expression on the girl's face - it speaks volumes. I personally wish it were just her in the image as I find her more interesting than him.

I'd also attribute "hope" to this shot. The eyes of the girl implore you to give her hope.

I like the expressions on their faces. The blue in the right bottom corner is a bit strange, I wish it was not there. But still, I like this one very much.

i think you've got the wrong title, they are not being charitable (as they are receiving). perhaps hope would have been a better title. nice shot all the same...
