| questions: why photograph a broken picnic table? furthermore, why photograph a broken picnic table at night? furtherfurthermore, why photograph a broken picnic table at night with a flash? this picture is wholly unappealing - there is nothing here but lack of technique and attraction, which is why i scored it so low. sorry. |

| A picture of a table taken in the dark. It meets the criteria but I don't get a story from it. |

| Hi. IMO, there is too much black in the top portion. I think another angle that includes more table, or maybe a long exposure shot without a flash could help. |

| Almost good use of the flash. The front of the bench got overexposed and detailless, but the black background fits the white subject. The portrait is a brave crop, but works better than the landscape would. |

| Prbably would have benefitted from a daytime shot, the light is quite harsh. |
