yes, she's in motion, but if you look at the rest of the entries, you'll get a better idea as to how you could have taken this subject and opportunity and done much better with a different composition. the idea was for the camera to be moving in order to capture something in motion--and the more movement, the better. her, your shutter and flash combination worked more to freeze the action than to follow it. |

nice idea, personally I'd love to see more background blur here and also the composition could be improved by using a more regular portrait rectangle, this all feels too tight |

That's stop motion, not motion panning. Quick reflexes, but it doesn't quite meet the challenge. |

I do not see any motion panning here...just falsh used to capture an action shot. |

Nice idea. But it looks like a long exposure with subject motion frozen by flash rather than proper motion panning by tracking a moving subject with a long enough exposure to motion blur the background. |

This would have been an excellent picture, but you cut so much of her off. You nailed motion panning though. |
