Good idea, but I think it would have looked even better had the moon been located in the top third of the picture rather than the bottom third. In my opinion, it would have given it more of a "far away and unreachable" effect.

Wow, I've seen so many moon pics now, and along comes this one. Just a moon, and nothing else, like all the others. It's interesting how placing the moon at the bottom right corner with a nice border lifts this above the rest. An interesting lesson! 8

This is my favourite of all the moon pics. I just love the negative space of total blackness. Also it isn't often that I comment on a border, but this one is very good and fits perfectly - 10.
