Interesting image. Shutter speed is probably too high for background blur to show that you met the motion panning challenge. |

Since it is in the sky the plane is clearly moving, but this looks like a shot taken at a fast shutter speed which has frozen the moment, rather than a motion panning shot. I have to say that I'm not a great fan of the colouring either. |

It's hard to tell with your reworking, but the background/foreground don't seem blurred to me, making it look as if the plane is just hanging in mid-air, rather than moving forwards. |
