Thanks people for your comments ,to be frank i never knew the motion panning concept completely but thanks to ur comments and the competition i think i have understood wht was expected.

not quite sure what happened here, but hopefully after looking at the other challenge entries, you'll get a better idea as to what 'motion panning' means.

it's one thing to have an image you like, it's another thing altogether different to have an image that scores well...

This is quite confusing, I can't work out what it is. I dont htink it helps that you have posted it as 455pixels instead of 640

Seems like you were trying for an interesting motion effect. Would be better if you were following a subject in motion to get motion blur separation from the background, not shooting while in motion at a stationary subject with no separation from the background.

Not really sure what to say about this one. It almost looks like the picture is being taken through a reflection on glass but the sheer effort of trying to work out what is going on here is detracting my attention away from the image itself. I'm afraid I don't find it terribly engaging.

It's really hard to tell what I'm looking at in this shot. Perhaps the reflections are a result of motion panning, but I really can't tell what's happening.
